I purchased a Raggedy Ann doll today that look as if its from 1963-1965 (no rouge on cheeks, darkish orangey-red hair, looks like like the first doll in the second picture) but she has a red dress on with yellow flowers and black trim. I was wondering if you could tell me if this is an original dress? Thanks!!

These are some of the variations of cotton floral prints used by the Knickerbocker Toy Co. in the 1960's. I constantly search for more examples of the unusual early prints and sometimes have to purchase a doll in fair condition just to have her dress!!
